Monday Murpage

Yes I know I've missed two Mondays XD. I'm sorry, I"m sorry. I have no excuse. Let me make it up to you by telling you a little itty bitty story about how today's murpage came to be.
So I was minding my own business, surfing the interwebs talking to my peeps, and enjoying the soft fur of a dog at my feet; when suddenly, a little chat box popped up from none other than the ever punctual Maggie. We get in to talking about our days, going back and forth with blog tips and Nutella hot chocolate recipies (yum!), until she brings on the inevitable prodding I know is just the Maggie way:

"You know you have to get that Monday Murpage in before 12 or it doesn't count," She types with what I can only imagine looks like the face of a disproving Asian mother.

Yes I know Maggie, I'm on it. I swear on shirtless Zuko I will do my very best.

1. Mood:

Fantastic actually :D. Today started off kinda blah, I went to the mall and left without a single thing, a sure sign of depression. But now that I'm all settled in for the night and have some sushi in my belly I'm pretty content.

2. Quick name three things you're good at:

listening, poker, and closet organization.

3. Do you have a cartoon crush?

isn't it obvious? ^^^^

I'd either travel Zuko's Pangea-like world with him, or marry the fairy prince from Thumbelina. 

Monday Murpage

Even though it's Tuesday.

I know, I'm sorry, I completely forgot. I just caught caught up in the day and time just slipped away from me. But fear not, you will still get your daily dose of Kaelin blabber :).

LES QUESTIONS

1. Mood:

Bright eyed and bushy tailed for 9am. I'm about to go out for a run. 

2. What size bed do you sleep in?
A full size. It's actually very overpowering in my room because it's so big, and in reality I only need half the space for sleeping.

3. BLINGBlingBLING. How much is too much?

On the dailies I'm not really one to wear accessories. Sometimes I'll put together an outfit and I'll realize it's begging for a pair of earrings, or some boho bracelets; but 80% of the time the only thing I'll have on is a hair tie around my wrist. However, if I was going to say, The Oscars, you can never have enough. I'd rent out all the Harry Winston my body could lift.

Monday Murpage

Okay, it's 10:26 and I'm just now starting, as long as this gets in before midnight it still counts right? RIGHT. I'll admit it, this week I totally forgot about Monday Murpage. I just lost track of the time guis :/. Remember those changes I've been rambling on about? Yeah, it's those again. I feel like I'm becoming that purple monster with a billion heads from Hercules;

Too many captains; too many people; too many directions. Its hard to live when you're 7 different people.

Today I mostly murped around my house and ran a few local errands. My parents are really taking advantage of my need for driving practice and sending me all over town. They even enlisted me to be their designated driver for a function this week. Hey, the California Drivers Handbook said I had to drive with an adult over the age of 25, it didn't say anything about that adult needing to be sober.

Lols this blog is starting to be more personal than I imagined it being, maybe I should change my little about me blurb so I don't mislead people.

ANYWAY.

LES QUESTIONS

1. Mood:

A little worn down. I'm feeling kinda under the weather. 

2. What's the worst date you've ever been on?

The time a guy invited me to the fair and ditched me. I was a little miffed at first because we'd arrived together, but I got over it enough so that I could find someone else to fill my daily dose of testosterone. He was pretty mad when he found out. To be fair, I didn't even know it was a date. 

3. Do you have an earphone preference?

I do indeed. I actually have kinda oddly built ears, so earphones present a certain challenge. I have small ear holes (canals?) so the earbuds with the foam stuff that are suppose to fit to your ears always fall out on me. And then I also have a pretty small head, so head phones rarely hit on my ears even on the smallest setting. And ear phones that wrap around the ear are usually too big at standard size because my ears are so small. I'm kinda just all around small in the headular area. I wish the same could be said about my butt. Right now, I'm using this cool hair of workout earbuds from target with these rubber cones inside. Oh Target, you always have just what I need.

Last week's been a bit strange for me. I feel like right now I'm at a cross roads, so many things are due for changing and rearranging, but it seems like the universe hasn't quite decided which way it wants to bend me yet. I'm just trying to tread water, keep my face above the break line, do my best, and hope it all works out. It gets kinda tiring all on my own. But then if i sit down and really think about it, I've already been on my own for quite some time.

Sorry if that wasn't full of pep, I could think of at catchy upbeat intro XD.

LES QUESTIONS

1. Mood:

A little melancholic at the moment. I had a lovely afternoon chitchat with a gal pal earlier, but now I'm starting to feel a little blah. Too much stress I think. 

2. Pick one: Chicken, Pork, or Beef. The two that you do not choose you must give up forever and ever. 

This one's hard. I can defintely eliminate chicken right off the bat, I'm not much for poultry on the reg. And then it's hard to choose between pork and beef. I loves me a good and delicious steak, but in Chinese culture so many foods revolve around pork. And bacon. Oh god I love bacon..... Ima havta go with pork. 

3. What is your perfect heel height?

Probably 3 1/2 to 4 inches. 5 is kinda pushing it as far as all day wear, and I refuse to put on a heel less than 3 inches. If it's shorter than that, might as well just wear flats. Tiny heels can be just as uncomfortable as sky high stillettos, and I don't see the point in suffering if I don't get the height gain.

I'm a naturally inquisitive person. Not exactly curious, because when I think of curious I think of monkeys (aka Curious George), and I am most certainly not a monkey.

JANK.

Anyway, back tracking from primates, I ask a lot of questions. Generally a good indication of my level in intrest in you is the frequency of my questions. If I'm rapid fire fan girl interrogating you on your condiment choice and underwear preference, I'm interested. If I ask you not a single thing, I really couldn't give a shit. 

Which brings me to my new(ish) idea for RHW; Monday Murpage.

It'll be series of random questions listen for yours and my amusement. It's meant to be kinda an interactive thing, because isn't blogging all about being social? If you wanna play along,  feel free to fill em' out in the comments, or even post them on you own blog :D. To be honest, I kinda stole the idea from Karen, my favorite blogger of all time ever in the history of the universe, but I'll revamp mine a little so I'm not so much of a copy cat. 

This is part of my plan to get myself back into blogging. School just started up for me again, so I know time will soon run even shorter. I figured that you guys deserve some content, at least once a week, and that I can most certainly do. So here goes bro, lemme know what you think.

1. Mood:

Alright I think. I didn't get too much sleep last night, so my dark circles are making me look like the walking dead. The zombie look isn't so attractive outside of Halloween. Good thing my online instructors can't see me.

2. What's your favorite purchase of the summer?

The navy blue sheer hi-lo cut dress I bought in Hong Kong. I've yet to wear it out yet, for fear of it blinding the eyes of on lookers with it's sheer awesomeness of beauty, but I will soon.
